  • Galvalume Coils are a material composed of aluminum-zinc alloy, mainly consisting of 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc and 1.6% silicon. They are dense tetragonal crystals formed by solidification at a high temperature of 600°C. They have the following characteristics and application advantages:

    Product advantages:

Thermal reflectivity and heat resistance, which allow Galvalume Coils to maintain a good performance in hot environments. ‌

Economy, i.e., the cost-effectiveness of Galvalume Coils is higher than other materials. ‌

They are easy to paint and applicable to application scenarios that require spraying or painting. Zinc-free flowers provide a more aesthetically pleasing surface. The product finish without zinc spangles looks nicer. ‌

The nice silver-white finish is applicable to buildings and home appliances that need an aesthetic appearance. ‌

Commonly used materials: including DX51D+AZ, DC51D+AZ, etc., whose identifications indicate their specific use and performance requirements. ‌

    Application fields:

Widely used in industries including civil construction, agricultural and livestock products, railways, roads, electric power communication, automobile motors, industrial refrigeration, etc.

For example, in civil construction, Galvalume Coils can be used to make ceiling grids, perforated plates, cable bridges, etc.

In agriculture, they can be used for steel structures of animal feeding sheds, greenhouses, etc. ‌

In electric power communication, they can be used for high- and low-voltage switchgears for power transmission and distribution, the exterior of box-type substations, etc. ‌

    Product characteristics:

Galvalume Coils have excellent corrosion resistance, 2 to 6 times that of pure zinc coating of the same weight. Zinc-aluminum-magnesium coated steel sheet coated steel sheets are a type of alloy metal with an excellent overall performance. They have much higher corrosion resistance than pure zinc and aluminum-zinc alloys. In addition, they provide excellent protection for steel sheet cuts and have welding properties comparable to that of pure zinc steel sheets. ‌

To sum up, with their unique alloy composition, excellent performance and wide range of applications, Galvalume Coils have become important materials in construction, agriculture, industry and many other fields.

CATEGORY OF STRUCTURES OF CLAD LAYER

    Classification itemCategoryCode
Types of clad layerZinc clad layerZ
    Zinc-iron alloy's clad layerZF
    Patterns of clad layerClad layer with uniform thickness A(g / m2) / B(g /m2)(A=B)A/B
    Clad layer with different thickness A(g / m2)/ B(g / m2)(A≠B)
After negotiation between the supplying and demanding parties, the code of equal-thickness plating can be expressed by the sum of the weights of both sides, A is the weight of plating on the outer surface of the steel strip or the surface plating on the steel plate (g/m2); B is the weight of plating on the inner surface of the steel strip or the weight of plating on the lower surface of the steel plate (g/m2).
